If you love frogs and toads, and want to learn more about them,
this program is for you! 
Discover fun facts about the 10 species
of frogs and toads common to Sullivan County, and learn to identify
them by sight and sound. Then join us for an evening walk at the
Bashakill Wetlands; we will try to identify any frogs we might see or
hear. 
 
Recommended for Adults and Children 5 and older
accompanied by an adult, (The first 40 minutes is a
lecture/slideshow). Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight.

Monthly D&amp;D Game at MEEC
Session 0 - April 24th at 1pm
Session 1 - May 29th at 1pm

Sessions 1+ $5/game
Play as a forest protector in the magical Everwood, a forest that is much more than it seems. Thought a small patch of land between two towns, you're likely to get lost and end of in strange places if you're not careful. There are fae, poachers, and mysteries to discover for those willing to vow their service in protection to Everwood.
Each session is designed to work as a one-shot so players can drop in and out as needed. Beginners welcome.
Session 0 is when we go over the world of the game and players can make their characters, but if you miss this session you can always contact the Game Master to set up your character and join later. Later sessions will be $5 per game and will be on the last Friday of every month. Games can run anywhere from 2-4 hours.
10 players MAX per game so make sure to register.

Discover fascinating facts about these tiny but feisty birds! This program will cover hummingbird adaptations, flight, diet, nesting, migration, and predators. We will discuss nectar feeders, as well as native nectar plants that&nbsp;attract humming birds and keep them&nbsp;coming back. Humming birds will be returning to our area soon, get ready for them!

The afternoon will feature short presentations on Local Native Plants for Home Tea Brewing by Richard Mandelbaum and the History of Tea Pets by Cheryl Jones. Located at MEEC, 762 South Rd, Wurtsboro.
