Swan Found Shot With Darts in Wing at Nassau County Preserve
The Nassau County SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward on information on the person who shot the swan.

MASSAPEQUA, NY - A swan was found shot with darts in the Massapequa Preserve on Sunday, according to the Nassau County SPCA.
The swan was believed to be shot between 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday by the Kiwanis fishing bridge on Clark Boulevard.
The darts were in the "meaty part" of the swan's wings and were able to be safely removed, according to the SPCA.

The Nassau County SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for shooting the swan.
