Come witness what a wedding in Cutchogue could have looked like on the eve of the American Revolution. We are celebrating the union of Gershom Terry, a local Revolutionary War veteran, and Elizabeth (Case) Terry, who were originally married before the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Experience the historical customs, music, fashion, and food of a colonial-era wedding while learning what life was like on the North Fork during the Revolutionary War. This is a ticketed event, and tickets are now on sale at Events.com . Attendees who are dressed in colonial era costume will receive preferred seating.
This event is a collaboration between the Cutchogue Presbyterian Church and the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council and Museums. The wedding will be held at the Cutchogue Presbyterian Church, 27245 Main Rd, Cutchogue, June 20, 2026, 2:00pm- Get your Suffolk County 250th passbook stamped by The Cutchogue New Suffolk Historical Society & Museums on site.
