1 Hurt In Necklace Snatch In Medford: Police
Suffolk police say the man set up the sale of the necklace through Facebook Marketplace.
MEDFORD, NY — A man who arranged a sale through Facebook Marketplace, had his necklace swiped in Medford on Saturday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A man reported setting up an exchange to sell a necklace through Facebook Marketplace, and after arriving at a location on Lee Lane at around 2:15 p.m., two unknown men grabbed his arm through a vehicle window and swiped the necklace, according to police.
While driving away, he was knocked to the ground, and later taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
