3 Busted For Selling E-Liquid To Minors In Medford, Bayport, And Oakdale: Cops
The charges resulted from an investigation prompted by community complaints, police said.
MEDFORD, NY — Three smoke shop employees were slapped with appearance tickets for unlawfully dealing with a child in connection with selling e-nicotine to minors at businesses in Medford, Bayport, and Oakdale on Saturday, Suffolk police said.
The arrestees included a 57-year-old from Selden at J Mart and Smoke Shop on 580 Route 112 in Medford, as well as a 53-year-old from Deer Park man an employee of Mo’s Smoke Shop on Bernice Drive in Bayport, police said. A 22-year-old from Bohemia was also charged at One Stop Beer and Smoke on Montauk Highway in Oakdale, according to police.
Unlawfully dealing with a child is a misdemeanor.

Police credited an employee at Valero on Montauk Highway in Oakdale for refusing to sell e-liquid to a minor.
The charges resulted from an investigation by 5th Precinct Crime Section officers prompted by community complaints, police said.

The three were issued Field Appearance tickets returnable to First District Court in Central Islip on Jan. 6.
