3 Gunmen Invade Medford Home; Man Assaulted, Woman Restrained
BREAKING: Police believe the home was targeted early Tuesday.

MEDFORD, NY - A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after three men armed with handguns invaded a Medford home early Tuesday, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, three men entered a home at 37 Locust Avenue South at about 12:30 a.m. A 29-year-old male occupant was assaulted. A female occupant was restrained, but uninjured.
The robbers stole cash, jewelry and other items from the home before fleeing the scene.

The 29-year-old man was transported via ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates that the home was targeted, police said.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or anonymously to Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
