3 Hurt In Crash On LIE Service Road
One person was airlifted to the hospital after the Friday night crash.

YAPHANK, NY – Three people were hurt in a crash between two SUVs on a Long Island Expressway service road Friday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, a Ford Explorer heading south on Patchogue Yaphank Road collided with a Honda CRV heading west on Express Drive North at about 8:40 p.m.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue. The driver of the Honda was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital. They were both transported via ambulance. A passenger in the Honda was taken to Stony Brook by a Suffolk County Police helicopter. All of the injuries are considered non-life threatening, police said.

Police did not identify or release any other information about those hurt in the crash.
