MEDFORD, NY — For the second time in a week, a man armed with what appeared to be a gun held up a clerk minutes before closing time at Dollar Tree in Suffolk on Saturday, Suffolk police said.
The man went inside the Route 112 in Medford store just before 10 p.m., and displayed what appeared to be a gun, and took cash from the business, according to police.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
It is the second time in a week that a Dollar Tree was robbed at apparent gunpoint.
The retailer's location on the North Service Road in Patchogue was robbed on Aug. 16.
