MEDFORD, NY — It was almost like the Grand Theft Auto video game.
Suffolk County Police are investigating after a person or group of people crashed a vehicle through a window at a Medford car dealership to swipe another vehicle.
A person or group of people broke into Nissan 112 on Route 112, and swiped a set of keys to a 2023 BMW X5 at around 1:30 a.m., according to police.
They then used the BMW to crash into a 2022 Nissan Versa,
which then struck the building, breaking the window, police said, adding that a 2023 Dodge Charger was then swiped from inside the showroom.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220- TIPS, a confidential police hotline.
