MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect they say swiped an Evenflo car seat and clothing worth more than $600 from Target in Medford on Aug. 19.
A woman swiped the items from the Horseblock Road store just before noon, according to police.
In images from security video, the woman can be seen wearing a black T-shirt with the phrase, "Dogs are my favorite people," as well as black pants and shoes.
The crime is being investigated by officers from the 6th Precinct's Crime Section in Selden as petty larceny, according to a police news release.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store, or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at P3Tips.com.
All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
