Arrest Made in Knifepoint Robberies

BREAKING: Police say a 26-year-old man robbed three Suffolk businesses in October.

Police say they have caught a man who robbed three Suffolk County businesses at knifepoint in October.

Daniel Noheyl, 26, was arrested at his home on Hollo Drive in Holbrook Wednesday night, according to Suffolk Police.

Police say Noheyl robbed the Subway restaurant at 600-7 Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma on Oct. 17, YoGoMania at 315‎ H Main St. in Holbrook on Oct. 28 and 50% Card and Gifts at 960 Main St. in Holbrook on Oct. 31.

In all three robberies, Noheyl threatened cashiers with a knife and demanded money, police say.

Noheyl is charged with one count of first degree robbery and two counts of third degree robbery. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Thursday.
