Arrest Made In Suffolk County Bank Robbery
BREAKING: The 50-year-old robbed a bank on Monday, police say.
Police say they have arrested a man who robbed a Suffolk County bank on Monday.
Edward Motl, 50, is accused of robbing the Capital One bank located at 800 Montauk Highway in Shirley.
According to Suffolk Police, Motl entered the bank around 2:20 p.m. Monday and demanded money from a teller.

The teller complied with Motl's demands and gave him cash from the drawer, police said.
Motl, of Marcella Drive in Mastic, fled the scene on foot, police said. He was arrested Monday and charged with third degree robbery.

Motl will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Wednesday.
