MEDFORD, NY — Children’s book author Angela O’Hoppe was joined by a surprise guest — her son, Los Angeles Angels' catcher Logan O’Hoppe, last Friday during a visit at Eagle Elementary School in Medford.

In the visit, 5th-grade students took part in a hands-on session with Angela and Logan, hearing their uplifting stories about people who believe in them and helped them achieve their dreams.

Angela discussed her book, "If You Choose to Believe in Them," which tells Logan’s story of defying the odds to achieve his dream and encourages students to project confidence and overcome obstacles.
