Barton Elementary School to Host Blood Drive

Barton Elementary School will host a blood drive next Thursday, April 16.

The blood drive is in cooperation with the New York Blood Center Little Doctors Program which incorporates the important task of donating blood in the science curriculum of elementary school students.

The drive will take place in the school’s cafeteria between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Members of the community are asked to make appointments by calling the school at 687-6900, contacting teacher Ellen Bilello via electronic mail (ebilello@pmschools.org) or visiting the New York Blood Center website (www.nybloodcenter.org). Any questions regarding blood donations can be directed to New York Blood Center as well.

Barton Elementary School is located at 199 Barton Avenue in North Patchogue. The students and staff of Barton Elementary School take great pride in being able to help members of their community in this way each year.
