HRHCare, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center offering a range of medical services for underserved communities throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island, is excited to announce the launch of the Coram Community Walks program with a Kick-off Fun Walk on Monday, May 4th. With the proven success of walking clubs at other Health Centers throughout the HRHCare network, The HRHCare Elsie Owens Health Center at Coram is proud to join in the effort of encouraging group walking as a fun and significant step towards better health. Coram Community Walks will meet every Monday and Wednesday from May 4th until June 8th, rain or shine, for a half hour walk starting at 5:30 PM. Upon joining Coram Community Walks, all participants are able to reserve a Step Up For Wellness booklet and earn free prizes.
The Coram Community Walks Kick-off Fun Walk will take place from 5:30 to 6:00 PM at Diamond in the Pines, 1850 Route 22 in Coram, and is open to all.
