Drugged Driver Crashes Into Teens on ATV in Suffolk County: Police
It happened Wednesday afternoon, police say.

A man high on drugs crashed into an ATV Wednesday afternoon, sending the two teens who were on the ATV to the hospital, police said.
According to police, 23-year-old Sean Nolan was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer north on Ocean Avenue at the intersection of Red Bridge Road in Center Moriches when the SUV collided with a 2006 Honda ATV at about 4 p.m.
The ATV operator, a 16-year-old female, and her 16-year-old female passenger were transported with non-life threatening injuries to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, police said. Police did not identify the teens.

Nolan, of Center Moriches, was arrested and charged with first degree driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. Nolan was held overnight for arraignment Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip.
The Ford and ATV were impounded for safety checks. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.
