Fire Damages Chimney, 2nd Floor Of Medford Home: Police

It was deemed not suspicious by the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal's office, police said.

MEDFORD, NY — A fire broke out in a Medford home on Saturday night, drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police said.

It started at the Oak Street home at around 2 p.m., and damaged its chimney and second floor, though no one was hurt, according to police.

It was deemed not suspicious by the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal's office, police said.
