The Medford Fire Department announced via their Facebook Page that ex-chief Jack Kennedy passed away Monday evening.

The Medford Fire Department announced via their Facebook Page that ex-chief Jack Kennedy passed away Monday evening.
A photo of Kennedy was posted with the following message late Monday evening:
"It is with deep sadness that the Medford Fire Department announces the passing of ex-chief Jack Kennedy of the Medford Fire Department. Jack passed away earlier this evening after a brief illness. Jack has been an icon in the Medford Fire Department for over 50 years. He has dedicated his life to us and he will be greatly missed. Services will be posted here as soon as they are available.
Thank you for your service Jack. You will be greatly missed."
