Girl, 8, Found In Florida After Visit With Mom At LI Hotel: Police
When her father came to pick her up, the little girl and her mother were not at the hotel and she was first reported missing, police say.

MEDFORD, NY —A little girl, 8, who was reported missing after a visit with her mother at a Medford hotel Sunday was found unharmed in Florida with her mother Monday, police said.
Toni Simmons was last seen with her biological mother, Carrie Walker, who was visiting from Florida, at the Comfort Inn, located on Route 112, Suffolk County police said. When Simmons’ father arrived to pick up the child on Sunday, she and her mother were not at the hotel, police said.
Toni, who lives with her father in Brookhaven, is white, 4-feet, 6-inches tall, and 70 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes, police said.

Walker, 31, left the hotel in a black 2021 Jeep Compass with Alabama plate number 48A14NB, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Simmons’ location to call the Sixth Squad at 631- 854-8652 or 911.
