Man Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree On Long Island
BREAKING: The single-car crash occurred Thursday night, police say.

YAPHANK, NY – A man was killed in a single-car crash in Yaphank Thursday night, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, the man was driving a 2017 Nissan Maxima west on East Main Street when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree just east of Yaphank Avenue at about 9:05 p.m.
The man, who police have not named, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he died from his injuries, police said.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information are the crash asked to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.
