Man Hospitalized After Assault at Patchogue Bar

Police are searching for a man who struck another man in the head with an unknown object at a Patchogue bar early Sunday morning.

Police say the assault occurred as the victim was leaving Cuscatlan Sports Bar & Grill, located at 290 E. Main Street, around 3 a.m.

The victim suffered a laceration to his head and was treated at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. No arrests have been made as the Fifth Squad continues to investigate.
