Man Robbed Medford Gas Station At Knifepoint: Police
An anonymous tip received by Crime Stoppers led to his arrest, police say.

A 30-year-old Coram man was arrested Saturday, a day after police say he robbed a Medford gas station at knifepoint. Kevin Hauff is charged with first degree robbery.
According to police, he entered the BP station located at 286 Expressway Drive South shortly before 8 p.m. Friday armed with a knife and demanded money.
The clerk complied and the Hauff fled the scene in a Hyundai Tucson, police said.

Sixth Squad detectives, acting on an anonymous tip received by Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS, located Hauff at his home in Coram on Saturday at 10:19 p.m. He was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Sunday.
