MEDFORD, NY — The Medford Fire Department starts bringing 'Santa Claus' on his neighborhood rounds this Wednesday.

Fire department officials asked that residents keep in mind that those who live on a dead end street or cul-de-sac should go to the nearest corner for to allow for emergency vehicles to access the neighborhood. Also, they are not taking special requests along the parade route.

"There is no set schedule," the post read. "You must listen and look for Santa."

The parade will run from Dec. 15 through 17 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The days and times may also change or be cut short due to inclement weather, emergency calls, or other situations beyond the fire department's control, officials said.
