Medford Man Killed in Ridge Crash
The single-car crash occurred Sunday morning on the William Floyd Parkway, police say.

A 60-year-old Medford man died Sunday morning after his vehicle crashed into trees on the William Floyd Parkway in Ridge, police said.
According to police Ronald Hunte was driving his 2003 Buick Rendezvous north on the parkway when his vehicle left the roadway, striking trees off the right shoulder, at about 11 a.m.
Hunte was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
