I am sick and tired of Medford being famous for the drug store murders. How about changing the narrative to something more positive that can help prevent substance abuse. Here's an idea: I remember the "Ok Not to Drink" picnic held in Glen Cove that drew almost 2,000 residents...fun, music, games, venders, some great speakers, and elected official officials. Maybe Pat-Med couold do the same in the fall, just before the November elections. (could even make it a fund raiser for the Pat-Med School District or other deserving agency)
