Medford Teen Arrested After Crowbar Assault In Patchogue

It happened Sunday night, police say.

A Medford teen was charged with felony assault after he struck another person with a crowbar in Patchogue Sunday night, police said.

Kenneth Olmos, 17, was arrested Tuesday. According to police, Olmos struck someone with a crowbar during a fight on E. 3rd Street at 11:10 p.m.

The person who was struck, who police did not name, transported in a private vehicle to Stony Brook University Hospital. It's unclear how seriously the person was injured.

Olmos was released on $10,000 after being arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip Wednesday. He was also arrested on a misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon charge in September.
