Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Suffolk County Crash
BREAKING: A 52-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital Sunday morning, police say.

SAYVILLE, NY – A 52-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital with seriously injuries following a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Sayville Sunday morning.
According to police, Daniel Lumley was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson north on Foster Avenue around 11:30 a.m. when the motorcycle struck a 2014 Volkswagen Passat after the driver of the car turned left into a driveway and attempted to make a three-point turn.
Lumley was airlifted by Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. The driver of the Volkswagen, Vito Ameruoso, 77, of Sayville, was not injured.

The Passat and the motorcycle were impounded for safety checks and the investigation is continuing. No criminal charges have been filed.
