Police: Bicyclist Struck by Car in Medford in Critical Condition
The accident occurred Monday morning.

A Calverton man was critically injured Monday morning when a car struck his bike in Medford, police said.
According to police, a 23-year-old Centereach woman was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 south on Horseblock Road and was attempting to make a left turn onto Express Drive South when her vehicle collided with a bicyclist who was riding north on Horseblock Road at about 7:45 a.m.
The bicyclist, 29-year-old Julien Robinette, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the car was not injured. No criminal charges have been filed.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
