
A 21-year-old Coram man exposed himself to a teenage girl who was walking in Selden Friday afternoon, police said.
According to police, Arshad Syed Humzah was driving a 2010 Nissan north on Boyle Road and Strauss Avenue when he approached a 15-year-old girl who was walking along the roadway at about 5 p.m.
Syed Humzah asked the girl if she needed a ride and after the girl said no, he continued to follow her in his car and then stopped again and asked her for directions, police said. When the girl approached Syed Humzah, he exposed his genitals to her, police said.

The girl took note of Syed Humzah’s license plate and then went home and notified her parents, police said. The girl’s parents called police and Syed Humzah was arrested a short time later, police said.
Syed Humzah is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
