Police: Medford Man Charged With Selling Alcohol to Minor
The clerks at stores in Riverhead and Wading River were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, police say.

Two clerks were arrested for selling alcohol to minors on Saturday, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Members of the Riverhead Town Police Departments C.O.P.E. Unit conducted the New York State Liquor Authority compliance check.
A total of 24 establishments within the Town of Riverhead were checked and 22 locations were found to be in compliance with State Liquor Authority guidelines.

Two locations, Valero on 4904 Route 25A in Wading River, and 7-Eleven on 1733 Old Country Road in Riverhead were found to be in violation for selling alcohol to patrons under 21, police said.
Parvez Ahmad, 50, of Medford, and Shah Nadeemul Hasan, 42, of Middle Island, were both arrested, and charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child, police said.
