Police Officers Deliver Baby Girl in Medford
When officers arrived at a Medford home Sunday morning, a woman was in active labor, police say.

Suffolk County Police officers helped deliver a baby girl in Medford Sunday morning.
Officers James Caporale and Paul Rocchio responded to a 911 call at about 7:15 a.m. at a residence located at 124 Southaven Avenue. When the officers arrived, they observed a 37-year-old woman in active labor. The officers assisted the mother in delivering a healthy baby girl.
Both mother and daughter were transported via Medford Volunteer Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital.
