Police Seeking Man Who Tried To Sell Stolen Cellphone

Police say he tried to sell the phone at an automated kiosk. Unfortunately for him, the kiosk has a camera.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say attempted to sell a stolen cellphone at Long Island Walmart last month.

According to police, the man tried to sell the phone at an automated kiosk at the Walmart located at 750 Middle Country Road in Middle Island on Jan. 23 around 4:15 p.m.

The cellphone had been reported stolen from the Dunkin Donuts located at 350 Middle Country Road in Coram a day earlier.
