Police Seeking Public's Help To Find Man Who Tried To Rob Gas Station At Knifepoint

MEDFORD, NY – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who tried to rob a Medford gas station in May.
According to police, the man entered the USA station located at 2243 Route 112 on May 14 at 12:52 a.m., displayed a knife and demanded money. The man, described as a white, approximately 5-foot-7 and with a medium build, fled without proceeds.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
