Port Jefferson Station Bank Robbed
Man presented a note to a teller demanding cash Friday afternoon, police say.

Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday at a bank in Port Jefferson Station.
Police say man entered the HSBC Bank, located at 574 Jefferson Shopping Plaza, at about 2:35 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot southbound on Route 112.
The suspect was described as white, 6-feet tall, approximately 30-years-old, skinny, unshaven, with red hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and red baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
