Record High Temperatures Expected Sunday on Long Island
BREAKING: Yes, a weather alert not about snow.

Any snow left on the ground across Long Island doesn't have much chance of survival Sunday as temperatures soar into the 60s.
The high temperature at Long Island MacArthur Airport is expected to reach 64 degrees, which would break the daily record high of 60 degrees set in 1997, according to the National Weather Service.
It was 52 degrees at the airport at 9 a.m., which is already 10 degrees above the average daily high for this time of year. By 11 a.m, the temperature will likely hit the 60-degree mark.
