Ridge Man Killed in Crash on William Floyd Parkway
The accident occurred Thursday evening, police say.

A Ridge man was killed Thursday evening in a two-car crash on William Floyd Parkway, police said.
According to police, Timothy Falletta, 27, was driving his 2006 Mazda north on William Floyd Parkway when his vehicle crossed the grass median and struck a 2008 Kia traveling in the southbound lanes at 5:40 p.m.

Falletta was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred south of Middle Country Road, police said. The driver of the Kia, Robert Brady, 62, of Shirley, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
