#SBUtoFlint/Flint Water Crisis

Students from Stony Brook University have organized a service based water drive and fundraiser initiative to assist those in Flint, MI.

A group of social work students from Stony Brook University have organized a drive to aid in assisting the residents and community suffering from the Flint Water Crisis. As this project has grown, so have the number of organizations that want to be apart of such an important cause.

Five drop off locations have been set up in Brentwood, Smithtown, Nesconset, Freeport and one at Stony Brook University. Donations will be accepted until April 14th.

Attached is the flyer with all of the information regarding the drive including supplies that are needed in Flint as well as drop off locations.

A trucking company has been generous enough to donate a truck and driver for the delivery of the supplies. A group of students will be making the trip to Flint, MI the weekend of 4/15 to deliver the supplies and volunteer in the community.
