UPDATE: Missing Medford Man Found Safe

The 85-year-old man suffers from vascular dementia and congestive heart failure.

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Medford man who suffers from vascular dementia and congestive heart failure.

Mathew Accardi, 85, was last seen today in his home, located at 103 Kettles Lane at approximately 10 a.m. Accardi is described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 194 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Accardi was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and tan slip-on shoes. He is known to be operating a brown 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe with a NY registration plate number of FJM-3297. Accardi may be in need of medical attention.
