SJC to Host Zumba Fundraiser to Benefit Servicemembers and Veterans
For the second year in a row, St. Joseph's College (SJC) will be hosting a Zumba fundraiser, "Help Our Heroes Zumba-a-thon," on July 11.

For the second year in a row, St. Joseph’s College (SJC) will be hosting a Zumba fundraiser, “Help Our Heroes Zumba-a-thon,” to benefit soldiers, veterans, police officers and firefighters. The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 11 (rain date is Sunday, July 12) from 4 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Danzi Athletic Center on the College’s Long Island Campus in Patchogue.
The event, which raised more than $2,000 last year, will feature a two-hour Zumba-a-thon followed by refreshments, raffles and entertainment by the American Bombshells.
All of the proceeds will benefit Boots on the Ground NY, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Suffolk County Police Memorial Fund.

The John A. Danzi Athletic Center is located at 155 W. Roe Blvd. in Patchogue, and is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue).
