Special Weather Statement Issued For Suffolk County
BREAKING: Just in from the National Weather Service...

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Suffolk County due to foggy conditions in the region.
"While visibilities are mainly 1 to 3 miles across the area this morning, they will fall to below 1 mile at times," the statement says. "In localized areas, the visibility could fall to one quarter mile or less."
If reduced visibilities are encountered, motorists should reduce speed and use low beam headlights.

Improving visibility is expected by 11 a.m. in western Suffolk and noon in eastern Suffolk.
