Suffolk Bus Struck By SUV On Route 112, 1 Injured: Police

The driver of a Nissan was taken by ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries," police said.

MEDFORD, NY — A Suffolk County bus carrying passengers was struck by an Sport-utility-vehicle on Route 112 in Medford on Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.

A Nissan Armada struck the back of the bus when it stopped at a bus stop near commercial boulevard just before 5 p.m., according to police. The Nissan's driver was transported by ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of "non-life-threatening injuries," police said.

There were seven people on the bus at the time of the crash, including the driver, but none were injured, according to police.
