SUFFOLK FEDERAL CREDIT UNION & ITS MEMBERS COLLECT SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO BENEFIT CHILDREN THROUGH LONG ISLAND CARES

In support of Long Island Cares, Inc., Suffolk Federal Credit Union and its members recently joined together to contribute school supplies to benefit children in underserved communities. 

One Suffolk Federal member in particular, Molly Howard, who recently won a Visa Gift Card through the credit union’s summer art contest, decided to use her winnings to purchase school supplies for the drive. 

“I wanted to help as many kids as possible to start school with the same supplies that I am fortunate to have,” said Molly. “It broke my heart to think that other kids wouldn't be as excited to start school if they didn't have what they really needed.”
