SUFFOLK FEDERAL PROVIDES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL STUDENTS

Suffolk Federal recently presented $1,500 college scholarships to eleven local high-school seniors.

Suffolk Federal recently presented $1,500 college scholarships to eleven local high-school seniors. One student, Alexis Groark of Huntington received an additional $2,500 scholarship provided by the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation which was matched by Suffolk Federal along with a $1,000 scholarship provided by the New York Credit Union Association. Recipients are judged based upon their academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities as well as the quality of written essays.

“Year after year, we look forward to providing the opportunity for financial support to deserving and extremely bright local high school seniors as they begin their college experience and future career endeavors,” said William J. O’Brien, President & CEO of Suffolk Federal. “We’re very proud to support their educational goals.”
