Suffolk Federal Credit Union recently presented $1,500 college scholarships to ten local high-school seniors. One student, Laura Dautzenberg of Manorville received an additional $750 scholarship provided by the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation which was matched by Suffolk Federal, as well as a $1,000 scholarship from the Credit Union Administration of New York. Recipients are judged based upon their academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities as well as the quality of written essays.
“Each year, we welcome the opportunity to provide financial support to ten deserving and extremely bright local high school seniors as they begin their college experience and future career endeavors,” said William J.
