Suffolk Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash
The man lost control of a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and it struck several road signs and a pole on Saturday, police said.
MEDFORD, NY — A man riding a motorcycle died when he lost control of the vehicle, and it struck several road signs and a pole in Medford on Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.
Police said that the man had been riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle southbound on Route 112, near Commercial Boulevard, at about 11:42 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said. His name was withheld, pending the notification of his next of kin, according to police.
Police impounded the motorcycle for a safety check.
