Threat About Medford School Posted To Social Media: Suffolk PD

MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police were notified overnight of a threat posted to social media regarding Oregon Middle School in Medford, a spokeswoman said.

The 5th Precinct is now investigating and their is a presence of officers at the school. The nature of the threat or what platform it was posted to was not immediately clear as police did not release any further details.

Patchogue-Medford School district officials could not be reached for comment.
