Town Demolishes Burned Out Medford Home

The home sustained extensive fire damage, rendering it a danger to the community.

From The City of Brookhaven: On January 8, Supervisor Ed Romaine (second from right) and Councilman Neil Foley (right) were on-hand when members of the Town of Brookhaven’s Recycling and Sustainable Materials Management Department (left) performed an emergency demolition of a burned-out house located at 77A Oregon Avenue in Medford. The fire occurred on December 11 and the house was fully engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze. The structure sustained extensive fire damage, rendering it a danger to the community.
