Woman Killed In Suffolk County Crash
BREAKING: Fatal crash in Suffolk County this morning.

YAPHANK, NY – A woman was killed in a single-car crash in Suffolk County Wednesday morning, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, the woman was driving a 1999 Nissan Altima north on County Road 101, north of Long Island Avenue, when she lost control of the vehicle, struck a post and a sign and her vehicle overturned at about 9:15 a.m.
The woman was transported by the Yaphank Fire Department to Long Island Medical Center in East Patchogue where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
