Dancing their Paws off at the Canine Companions for Independence Zumbathon
Last weekend the halls of Canine Companions for Independence were filled with dogs, music, and Zumba! The first annual CCI Zumbathon was a big hit raising over a thousand dollars for the Medford-based non-profit that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children and adults with disabilities at no charge. Volunteers raised money by taking pledges for the 3 hour event. The Miller Family Campus on Middle Island Road was open for tours, and graduate teams and volunteer Puppy Raisers were on had to cheer the dancers on.
