3 Teens Rob Bicycle In Nassau; Knocking Victim To Ground: Police
They were found a short time later on the LiRR Merrick station platform, police said.

MERRICK, NY — Three boys were arrested Sunday evening in Merrick for robbing a bicycle, police said.
The 13-year-old victim was riding his OM Flyer bicycle on Merrick when he was approached by three teenagers (14, 15 and 16 years old). They knocked the victim off his bicycle, causing damage to the wheel and took the bike, leaving theirs as they fled, authorities said.
A short time later the boys were located on the platform at the LIRR Merrick station. They were placed into custody. The bicycle was recovered and returned to the victim.

Two of the boys are being charged with second-degree robbery 2 nd Degree and fourth-degree grand larceny. They were scheduled to appear at Nassau County Family Court on Monday. The third juvenile faces third-degree criminal mischief, along with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Firat District Court.
